Lasagna
 
For Pasta Sauce
 
1 Pkt Mince (Beef, Lamb or Chicken)
1 bottle Pasta Sauce (I use Five Brother Wine/Garlic Combo
1 bottle Pasatta Sauce
1 pkt Instant lasagna sheet (You can use large or small sheet)
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Sugar (Optional)
1 Pkt Mozarella Cheese
1 Onion (Sliced)
3 Garlic (Crushed)
2 tbspn oil
 
Method
 
Heat oil in a pot. When oil is hot, add sliced onion and fry it until it is golden in colour. Add crush garlic to it and fry this for 2 mins. Now add mince meat and fry this until it turns brown. To this add pasta sauce, pasatta sauce, salt and sugar. Lower the heat and put the lid on the pot and slowly cook it until the sauce has turned nice rich red and meat has been properly cooked. Turned off the stove.
 
Now take a nice baking dish and put a layer of instant lasagna sheet in the dish and pour some pasta sauce over it. Just enough to cover the pasta sheets. Use your judgement. You will need enough sauce to make 3 layers. On this layer sprinkle some mozarella cheese, just a handful. Now make 2 more layers with pasta sheet and pasta sauce, sprinkle more cheese on these.  Finally pour cheese sauce and sprinkle more cheese over the top and baked it in a hot oven at 150 degrees for 30 mins. Test to see if it is cooked by inserting a sharp knife into the lasagna dish. If the knife goes through each layer easily it means that the pasta is cooked. Take it out of the oven let it seat for few minutes then serve  with a nice garden salad.
 
 
 
For Cheese Sauce
 
2 cups milk
2 tbspn butter
2 tbspn Plain Flour
1/2 cup of grated cheese
Pinch of Pepper
Pinch of Salt
 
Method
 
In a small pan melt the butter and add plain flour and fry for a few minutes until the flour has blend well with the butter. To this add 2 cups of milk.  Make sure the heat is lower. Now  keep stirring this mixture slowly. To this mixture add some salt and pepper and 1/2 cup of grated cheese. Keep stirring until the milk thickens. (it should be like custard mixture) Once the mixture has thicken it is ready to be poured over the lasagna. Now pour the cooked cheese sauce over the finally layer of Lasagna. Sprinkle some more mozarrella cheese over the cheese sauce now it is ready to be baked.
