Four Bean Mixed Salad


This recipe was given to me by my dear friend Kareena who got it from her mum, Mrs. Akerlind. This recipe post is dedicated to Kareena and her mum. I don’t know the origin of this recipe but all I know is that it makes a delicious bean salad. It is very simple and so easy to make. This salad is quite popular at barbecues or at work luncheon. I hope the readers of this blog enjoy making this salad and eating it as much my family and friends do.

Four Bean Mixed Salad
1 large can of Four Bean Mix
2 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
1 tspn Paprika
1 tspn sugar
1/2 tspn salt (or more depending on the taste)
1/3 cup of olive oil
2 tablespoons Tomato sauce
1 or two cloves of crushed garlic
1 finely sliced onion (optional)
1 finely sliced capsicum (optional)
1/2 tspn of red chilli powder (optional)
Mixed the above ingredients in a bottled jar, shake well and pour onto the mixed beans. Refrigerate overnight and serve the next day.
